I have been taking a break from fusing glass after my last heartbreak ... the dreaded bubble. But after seeing some of the beautiful pieces posted in my FB powder on fiber group, I'll be starting up again soon. In the meantime ...
It's been at least a year since I made any lampwork beads. After getting an email from a frit supplier, Val Cox, just looking at their frit supply reminded me how much fun it was to sit behind that torch and create glass beads.
I started out making my favorite blues on ivory beads. I love these!
Then the simple turquoise copper green.
And then I got out a jar of the Val Cox frit and rolled light turquoise glass into it ... Another winner.

VALENTINE'S DAY LISTINGS
Hoping to make a few sales for Valentine's Day, I've listed a few more pieces in my Etsy shop.
Here's a necklace with an etched heart and a beautiful patina finish. I've added my own lampwork beads. The length of the necklace with its wire wrapping and chain is 27", and it fits over the head without unfastening the clasp. I love it.
Another heart lampwork bead necklace.

New Lampwork Beads
I love these light turquoise with frit beads! I made them yesterday and just posted them in my Etsy shop. Also ordered four more frit colors that are in the mail to me ... can't wait to try and show them to you.
I tried to post a couple more of the Etsy treasuries my pieces were included in, and sadly read that the treasury generator was no longer working ... until someone figures out how to fix it.

These are beads made with ivory glass and then decorated with fine silver wire.
Transparent blue glass dipped in etching solution.
Really beautiful silver glass.
Simple, but beautiful, teal transparent beads.

A WEEKEND OF LAMPWORK BEADS!
One of my favorite ways to spend the day is in my studio making beads. My "studio" is my garage, which no longer has space for two cars. It no longer has space for one car. It has been taken over by RoseMarysClay and RoseMarysGlassArt. A really fun place to work. It has been months since I made beads. I guess it's like riding a bike ... I remembered how and didn't lose one bead.
What inspired me was an order I received last week from my best bead customer. I asked if she had any bead requests for restocking my shop ... and she gave me several! How nice of her. Here are some bead sets I made and posted in my shop today.

"Earthly Delights" Treasury
I love the look of this treasury, so many interesting shops to visit. My lampwork beads are included.
I love all of these beautiful things, and the way the artists have shown their vision in the gorgeous colors of the earth in autumn.
